Forest office campus with three awards

June this year was a very successful month for our Forest project, which won three architectural and design awards. The accomplishments of the office campus were valued by the jury of prestigious competitions, whose members awarded our building the Architectural Award of the President of Warsaw, the Real Estate Impactor prize, and the title of Accessibility Leader.

Forest is one of the greenest office projects in Warsaw. We wanted to create a place surrounded by greenery that is friendly and accessible to everyone. In addition to the highly popular office function, the development offers several public spaces. Between the buildings there is a patio planted with trees and shrubs, and a popular roof garden is available to anyone who wants to admire the views of the city skyline.

Award for architecture

On June 14, during the gala of the 9th edition of the Architectural Award of the President of Warsaw, the best buildings, urban spaces and architectural events completed in 2022 were honoured. The jury of the competition awarded our Forest office campus with the Architectural Award of the President of Warsaw in the “Commercial Architecture” category.

The organizer of the competition and the founder of the Award is the President of Warsaw. The partners are the Association of Polish Architects, the Chamber of Architects of Poland and the Society of Polish Town Planners.

Award for urban development

On June 22, the editors of the Rzeczpospolita daily awarded the Forest office campus with the Real Estate Impactor award in the “Icon” category. During the 7th edition of the event, journalists covering the real estate market in Poland awarded projects that make a valuable contribution to its development and have distinguished themselves in 2022. The jury pointed out that the investment was built outside the area of office concentration and contributes to the growth of this part of the city. It was also noted that Forest is a green place in the building sense (including the energy-saving façade) and literally, due to the accumulation of greenery.

Award for inclusivity

On June 28, the gala of the “Accessibility Leader” prize organized by the Integracja Foundation and the Society of Polish Town Planners was held at the Presidential Palace. The event, under the honorary patronage of the President of Poland, coincided with the European Day Against Discrimination of Disabled People. The winners were selected by a jury of urban planners and inclusive design experts, as well as specialists nominated by the Chancellery of the President of Poland. Out of 27 finalists, the Forest office campus was awarded the “Accessibility Leader” in the office development category.

The jury valued the solutions that meet the needs of diverse groups, regardless of their age, mobility, abilities and gender. Forest can be used by people with disabilities, blind and visually impaired, deaf, wheelchair users, seniors, parents with children, people with luggage or foreigners who do not speak Polish.

These are yet another awards for the Forest project that was also awarded the best green building of 2021 by the Polish Green Building Council.

We would like to thank the entire HB Reavis team, colleagues from the HRA Architekci and landscaping studio Urban Design and everyone involved in the development for their hard work. We are proud of numerous awards that motivate us to plan new developments in Warsaw.
